Directors Webinar. Engaging Critical Perspectives (SISEP) & Partnering with Families through Complex Change (ID SPDG)

This is a two part session: First, the Idaho SPDG and their parent partner, Idaho Parents Unlimited, will share how they are working together to support families and strengthen implementation. This presentation kicks off our spring series highlighting SPDG–family partner collaborations, with Idaho modeling how a state and its PTI co-plan, co-implement, and co-communicate their work. Next, Rebekah Hornak, SISEP center, will present an interactive session on Unlocking Innovation & Collaboration: The Power of Engaging Critical Perspectives. SPDG coordinators will learn how to use the Engaging Critical Perspectives Tool to intentionally surface diverse viewpoints, strengthen collaboration, and drive collective impact across state systems. Participants will explore how elevating multiple perspectives can sharpen problem-solving, spark innovation, and deepen shared ownership of SPDG goals. Participants will generate practical, innovative strategies to authentically engage diverse voices in their context. Through guided application, each coordinator will leave with one concrete action step to immediately embed the principles of Engaging Critical Perspectives into their planning and implementation efforts.
