This session focused on recent developments in measuring two educational innovations: Integrated MTSS (I-MTSS) and systems coaching. As I-MTSS research continues to grow, schools across the country have become more aware of this evolution of MTSS. Dr. Pierce shared implementation bright spots and common challenges schools have faced in implementing I-MTSS with fidelity. She also summarized approaches to measuring systems coaching, highlighting one state’s effort to develop and use a systems coaching fidelity measure. Participants reflected on their own fidelity measurement practices and identified action steps to improve fidelity measurement in their contexts.
