Members of Maryland's SPDG Leadership Team will share insights, processes, and initial outcomes of their implementation of an operational framework for transformational coaching in support of evidence-based math, social-emotional, and specially designed instruction. The presenters will highlight the ongoing professional learning provided to facilitate the implementation of effective coaching processes.
Presenters:
Alicia Palmer is the SPDG Project Director for Maryland Accelerates!. Ms. Palmer coordinates content development and partnership activities, directs the day-to-day work of project staff, provides regular feedback to team members, and ensures the quality and alignment of SPDG-related professional learning.
Cliff Mason is an instructional specialist with MSDE, serving as a SPDG Coach Facilitator. As a Coach Facilitator, Mr. Mason supports the professional learning and capacity building of the district-level coaches by providing a regular schedule of feedback, networking, and planning assistance.
