Reading Tiered Fidelity Inventory (R-TFI) and Collaborative Analysis of MTSS

Description/Other Details Feedback on the Reading Tiered Fidelity Inventory (R-TFI) Anna Harms Do you have a state-level data system that you would like the R-TFI data to feed into?

Would the PBISApps API for the SWPBIS Tiered Fidelity Inventory serve as a good model for a future Reading Tiered Fidelity Inventory API? Collaborative Analysis of Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports Across Six States Kristen Brown Seven doctoral Students from Denver University analyzed how various states implement their Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) models in order to compare and contrast the Colorado Department of Education’s (CDE) implementation to other states’ practices. MTSS data was collected from the following states: Arkansas, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Utah, and Washington. Each state’s MTSS website was reviewed to collect data, surveys were administered to each state’s MTSS representative, and one-on-one follow-up interviews were conducted. The primary survey focus was: MTSS main focus, Tier I, II, and III supports offered, whom MTSS serves, percentage of schools utilizing MTSS, perceived effectiveness, essential features, online platform, implementation tools, communication, training structures, and future partnerships. The goal is to improve collaboration, the sharing of information, and the implementation of MTSS within Colorado and the partnered states. Materials/Resources
