Using IEP Data for Systems Improvement
Adrienne Woods, PhD, of SRI Education will explore how state education agencies can use aggregated IEP data beyond APR reporting to examine IEP quality, service patterns, equity, and needs for professional development or systems improvement. She will introduce SEAMLESS, a privacy-conscious approach that removes identifying information from IEPs and transforms narrative content into analyzable data. Participants will consider questions their states could answer with better access to IEP data and learn about opportunities to partner with SRI to apply these tools to state priorities.
