At our February SPDG Directors' Webinar we got a behind the scenes look at the South Dakota SPDG.  We started with the South Dakota Evaluators who shared their widely lauded evaluation plan and how they have integrated family engagement into that plan.
 

Brandi Gerry, the SD Project Director, shared:

•     Their project infographic and how it has helped her collaborate with others at the State level.

•     Implementation lessons learned.

•     Resources and strategies that have worked.

•     What she would recommend not doing.

During our January 2024 Directors' Webinar, we celebrate the career of Dr. Larry Wexler. SPDG Grantees played a trivia game and shared their favorite Dr. Wexler memories via MentiMeter. 

In our SEL Work Group, we will explore the following: 

During December's work group, we split into groups and used the 9 Why's exercise to:

1. Get at the root of why you spent time and effort on fidelity data
2. Help you communicate the reason fidelity is important to SPDG participants.

• Define what fidelity is in the context of the SPDG

• How to utilize SDPG fidelity data

December’s Directors’ Webinar featured two SPDGs. Georgia described their work with universities in partnership with the CEEDAR Center and Illinois showed the data they use to get their Advisory Board discussions going.
