Resource Library

The State Professional Development Grantees are implementing a variety of initiatives. In an effort to assist projects, we’ve compiled a library of relevant tools and resources, developed by the grantees or TA&D agencies, on the topics listed below. We will update the resources regularly to include those tools showcased at our professional development events and Community of Practice sessions.

Evaluation

The State Professional Development Grantees must describe how the SEA will assess, regularly, the extent to which the strategies implemented have been effective in meeting the prescribed performance goals. These are journal articles, resources, and tools developed and curated by SPDG evaluators to assist projects in evaluating initiatives.

Family Engagement

As of fall 2022, a group of parent centers who serve as family partners in SPDG projects gather virtually every other month to share and connect. Interested parent center staff should contact signetwork@uoregon.edu to be added to the distribution list.

Implementation Science & Scaling Up

  • System-wide change will only happen if there are multiple drivers, multiple partnerships, multiple teams, and many individuals working together in new ways to create a new culture. –Alma Harris (2010)
  • SISEP Active Implementation Hub: Online Modules and Resources.
This is a free, online learning environment for use by any stakeholder involved in active implementation and scaling up of programs and innovations. The site goal is to increase the knowledge and improve the performance of persons engaged in actively implementing any program or practice.
