1. Measure Validation, NIRN and MIBLSI have been working to develop implementation capacity assessments, the District Capacity Assessment and the Regional Capacity Assessment, and fidelity assessments, Reading Tiered Fidelity Inventory, that are not only filling an assessment gap but are also well developed through a detail validation process. This session will outline the development process, give examples of how the tools were enhanced through the validation work and describe next steps with these new tools.
2. The playposit platform harnesses the power of interactive video for instruction. Specifically, it allows teachers and administrators to add interactive elements tied to moments in time in any online video. They can then assign those lessons in an asynchronous (flipped/blended) or synchronous (all-class, every-student-contributes) manner to engage every student in his/her learning path. The real time data from each answer submission is digested and displayed instantly for those teachers so that they can focus on remediation and teaching.
