Topic: Organizational Driver: Data Decision Support Systems to Improve Implementation
Date: Thursday, January 30, 2014
Time: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM Eastern / 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM Central / 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Mountain / 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Pacific
Jennifer Coffey, PhD, OSEP Project Officer
Audrey Desjarlais, Signetwork Coordinator
The purpose of the webinar is to build upon what was learned at the November SPDG National Meeting on the use of data to improve implementation. Dr. Jennifer Coffey will begin the webinar with a debrief of Dr. Allison Metz’ presentation on ‘Data Guided Decision-Making: How Asking Questions Can Improve Fidelity’. Then, Jennifer will lead the group in a discussion on how states applied their learning and took action to improve upon their data support decision system, as well as learn how states are approaching the overall ‘data use life cycle’– defining the ‘what’ in concrete terms, measuring fidelity and outcomes, using data to modify the ‘what’, and then repeating the cycle using the ‘modified what’ to reach better outcomes.
For those who did attend the meeting, prior to the live event please reflect on what successes your state teams have had or barriers you have confronted in applying the strategies you have acted upon since the meeting. And for those who did not attend the national meeting, we encourage you to view and/or download Dr. Metz’ presentation file, view the presentation recording, and/or listen to mp3 audio file located at: /content_pages/239-3rd-annual-spdg-national-meeting.
