Ohio Leadership Advisory Council (OLAC) Website.  OLAC's six-pillared Ohio Leadership Development Framework provided the tenets on which the Ohio Improvement Process was developed, as well as all components of the website. This website currently (March 2012) provides, among other resources, the following: a self-assessment tool for individuals and collaborative teams, a Facilitation Toolkit, 17 research-based training modules, Module User's Guide and a Module Crosswalk aligning the OIP, Race to the Top and SIG. In addition, seven additional modules will be added by late summer (2012), including one supporting Teacher Based Teams and one training module for each stage of the Ohio Improvement Process. This website serves as Ohio's leadership and continuous improvement tool for all school districts and community schools statewide, as well as provides higher education course curriculum for both education pre-service and graduate levels. In short, the site will sustain the past 5 years' extensive professional development on effective leadership at all levels.

Implementation Conversation PLC Session Recording - Adaptive leadership: Discovering your strengths (January 2012). Dr. Rose Wan-Mui Chu will present an overview of how Minnesota is approaching its evidence-based practices scale up work. Having been a systems engineer, Dr. Chu has a fresh perspective of education and systems change. She’ll share the challenges they are experiencing in realizing their vision, and describe how policy level change impacts the practice level (school, teacher, student, community, business, etc.). We hope you can join us for this meeting.

Outcome evidence is provided to support the categorization of the outcomes. There is also a very interesting section on administrative leadership. Please note that this is a SIG rather than SPDG report. As such, some of the outcomes are a bit dated (e.g., participation in assessment) given the passage of NCLB.
